Company Profile

The company, based in Melbourne Australia, was incorporated in March 1980 and for 10 years was primarily involved in supplying and maintaining telephone, intercom and on-site radio paging systems throughout Australia.

In 1990 the company sold it's core business and interstate branch operations in order to focus it's endeavours towards developing communication product concepts for the healthcare industry.

By mid 1992 these initial design objectives had been achieved and the company entered the market with it's, then unique, telephone-based 'Independent Living' emergency-call system.

By early 2003, 23 years since it's incorporation, the company had extended it's design and manufacturing endeavours to include a total 'Aging in Place' monitoring and management system.

The System, known as 'SmartCare' exploits the integrated benefits of telephone, wireless, hard-wired, computer and infrared technologies.

The SmartCare system concept now provides the healthcare professional with technological capabilities and communication solutions that are essential in order to succeed in today's dynamic healthcare environment.

With it's head office in Melbourne, associated Smart-Caller companies are also located in Sydney NSW and Auckland (NZ). Selected and experienced telecommunication agents extend those supply centres and services into other states and provincial areas.

SmartCare systems and products are supplied, installed and maintained by bona fide telecommunications, security and healthcare companies.
